This was my son’s very first dentist appointment and the staff was very professional and welcoming. They made sure to make us feel safe using precautionary methods during the Covid-19 pandemic. It was nice to see my son’s name on the welcome board as he is a new patient. We even got to take a picture for his first time! ? Our dental hygienist, Cat, was friendly and informative. My son was so excited and did very well with both the hygienist and Dr. Vera. He loved their interactions and being able to get his new Paw Patrol toothbrush and prizes for being a good patient. He was so excited to show off his clean teeth to his friends at daycare. Thank you for making us feel welcome - we’ve found our dentist for the next 16 years! ?
They are beyond awesome with adhering to the safety and health of each patient. They took a picture to commemorate my daughter's first dentist appointment which I am very grateful for. Shout out to Dr. Vera for being patient with my 2 year old and for putting her anxiety at ease. She came in nervous, sat down crying and left with a big smile! "Not bad...can we call daddy so I can tell him I went to the dentist?"
Today was our 1st visit. I appreciate the care and concern given to ensure our safety. Their service was prompt and the staff was extremely helpful. My kids had routine dental cleanings, but didn't seem to mind because they were distracted by the raffle prizes!
Happy with the care. They were nice. Only concern is that I asked if my other child could come in the waiting room with a mask while my son was back having the procedure. She was staying in the car but didn’t want to be alone. When I asked, they told me no I could not bring my other child into the waiting room. I understand encouraging people not to bring siblings. However if a parent no other means of child care they need to understand that there may be special circumstances where a parent has more than just the patient there. I left my 5 year old who has never had any anesthesia / nitrous in the building to go sit in the car with my other child. It’s quite frustrating to be told my child who is on premise cannot sit in the waiting room with a mask on. We were fine in the car but it definitely was nerve racking not being in the building with my 5yo.
I have a friend who left another dental practice because they would not let her go back with her very active, nervous 3 year old. You need to understand we are parents and the child may need a parent or siblings may have no other place they can go but be with their caretaker. Thanks for your time to understand the other side of things. We appreciate you taking safety precautions but it can also be frustrating.
I was so nervous for my 3 year old son to experience his first dentist visit. I researched for days and came across Beach Kids Dentistry and after reading all the great reviews, I decided to give it a try. From the first interaction, speaking with the front desk, I felt amazingly comfortable. They were so friendly and understanding. The actual visit was warm and inviting. They were so patient with my son and he felt relaxed enough to let them do the entire visit with no hesitation. They even gave us a picture to commemorate his first visit. He was more excited to get a new tooth brush and toothpaste then anything. I would absolutely recommend this office to anyone looking for a genuine, kind and experienced pediatric dentist. Thanks for everything Beach Kids Dentistry!
