(July 1, 2020, 12:22 pm)I just flew in from Florida and was starving. I love local places and I sure picked the right one. This is a vegan melt and it is sooo delicious! I am eating here all 3 days I am here. Highly recommend! Very clean and friendly! Support the locals!
(June 17, 2020, 4:29 pm)One of my top places for food in all of Virginia!! Great service and greater food!! The menu at Happy Cafe is endless and all of it is amazing!! There is 2 Happys but they feel like one. The food is perfectly priced and the servings are just right. The garlic grilled cheese was out of this world! Also did I mention they have Military and Senior discount!!! They will definitely be seeing me a lot!
(June 11, 2020, 1:51 pm)Today was my first experience here, I had been hearing about it for a long time and finally decided to try. It was worth taking the time out!! I went for the lunch special and had the chicken salad sandwich and a side of Mac and Cheese and it was well worth it! The customer service was exceptional as well, I think the owner served me and he was super respectful and thankful for my business!! I will be returning
(February 16, 2020, 8:07 am)Very nice small cafe in Virginia Beach. The owner and staff are friendly and attentive. The food is high quality and delicious. They serve breakfast/brunch style meals as well as having an "after 4" menu that includes smoked wings and shrimp mac and cheese, amongst other things.
When you walk in, there a counter directly in front of you, presumably for take out orders, with the kitchen directly behind it and in full view, and it is immaculate. To the left is the dining area,which is warmly decorated and is a very comfortable and relaxing space.
I just made my first visit and I am certain to return.
(January 28, 2020, 10:11 am)This was such a cute spot tucked into a small strip hidden off the road. I decided to go with the wheat Avocado Toast with veggies, hash browns, and a black coffee. The meal came out placed perfectly on a slim plate. The toast was done just right and topped with some mouth watering veggies. It was clean and had a hint of salt, pepper, and oil. It was fantastic. The hash browns are diced very small, dusted with some pepper and we're delicious. The coffee was smooth and had no bitterness at all. The layout of this Cafe is adorable. Clean, soft tones everywhere with humble decor. The staff was extremely pleasant, well mannered, and did a great job running this place! I'll definitely be back again. I do wish they had more vegetarian options but I was extremely pleased with what I did experience.
