He knows Jeep Cherokees of course (he drives one), but he also has demonstrated knowledge of other makes and models, old and new. The staff at this AutoZone are very friendly and helpful. They are happy to help out customers regardless of the customer's skill level. I have seen them helping out middle-aged ladies changing their battery after it died in the summer heat, as well as helping out car aficionados make more complex decisions about how to proceed with a build.
