(May 12, 2022, 12:37 pm)The best way to describe this church is a large building filled with loving and caring people. I starting coming to this church in 1991 and joined in 1992. While the sanctuary has been renovated and is large, the feeling inside is a community/family church. This is not a mega church. There are no fancy theatre lights, smoke machines, or special effects. Many visitors comment that they feel at home at this church. Pastor Prentis can really get you to understand the scriptures and his messages are on point.
(May 21, 2020, 10:15 am)Excellent pastor who uses sermon notes to keep everyone focused on the message. These sermon notes also allow me to go back and review the message in my free-time. Bible-study is also a great way to expand my reading and understanding of the Bible.
(March 12, 2020, 8:09 am)I was searching for a home in the 1990s and I found Thalia Lynn Baptist Church. I've been there ever since! The people are wonderful and always have open arms for everyone! Come visit, welcome home.
(May 21, 2019, 10:59 pm)While I haven't been to the Sunday services here, I have had the pleasure of being served by their Food Bank and I have always been blessed by them. The people there are SO loving and will talk with you. Some places they are cold and don't interact at all. But not here!!
I'm a praise & worship leader at my church so I'm always there on Sundays, but would love to go visit here one Sunday when I can. People here are lovely!
(December 6, 2018, 10:31 pm)Attended a Raleigh Ringers concert here, and all seats were good. Plenty of parking, but it's a long narrow lot, so if you're not up to walking, get someone to drop you at the door. Entrance was on parking lot as you drive in. Big worship space obviously embracing the screens, entertainment/theater seating model. Friendly folk as we entered, had a shopping area for Raleigh Ringers. All ran quite smoothly.
