Waffle House

My family of 5 was there this past weekend before our ride back to MD and NYC. Someone was kind enough to pay for our meal. The staff was also friendly wand warm to us. We was celebrating my little cousin saying Yes to Her Wedding dress 👰🏾

Had my first Waffle House experience when I was down for a wedding in late September 2023. The very friendly waitress told me for first time I had to get waffles. Well, that's what I wanted anyway! Then she said no honey, you have to try the flavored waffles. She had me at chocolate peanut butter waffles. I also got a side of hash browns, eggs, and bacon. The waffles were very good, I expected no less. The eggs were good. The bacon cooked perfectly. Overall it was a very pleasant experience. Considering how slow things move in the south the Waffle House is the exception. Everything came out hot, fast, and delicious.

This was my first time eating here and my husband and I were not sure what to expect after seeing all of the social media posts about the chain itself. When we sat down at one of the window booths we were initially turned off by the flies and dead mosquitoes on the window but we decided to shoo them away and continue on with the experience. The waitress came over to us almost immediately after we sat down to take our drink orders and offer her menu recommendations. The staff was extremely friendly and patient which I absolutely loved! I saw the waffle sandwich on tik tok and I asked our waitress if they were able to recreate it. She asked what I wanted on it and I described what I saw on the video while my husband decided to keep it simple with the bacon and hash brown bowl with a waffle on the side. The presentation was beautiful and the waffle sandwich was AMAZING!!! I loved it. We will definitely be back.

The best comfort food breakfasts can be had here. They can get busy, but the people hustle and provide good service.

Very busy Waffle House based on my recent visit. Lots of people were dining in when we entered, and more people came while we were there. That is proof that people like this location.
As soon we entered we werr greeted and aaked whether we were dining in or taking put. The restaurant was clean. The service was fast. The waitress was nice and attentive.
Bathrooms were clean.
So, great location.
