“One of the best barber shops that I have been to on a Navy Base. The barbers are well trained on Military Hair Regulations (all branches). Sometimes you need to give them a reminder on your branches regulations, except Navy. They are especially good with ROTC/JROTC haircuts. If I am ever in VA Beach and I need a haircut, I go to the exchange barber shop.”

“Great place. Several trees which is nice on got days. The lady in office (Dusti) is AWESOME! They try to have a family movie night every Friday night. They also try to do other little events for the campers on occasional holidays/weekends. Laundry is 75 cents per load. It is next to NAS Oceana so there is jet noise (sound of freedom) occasionally. Not sure why people on here book a site next to a Master Jet Base then complain about the jet noise.... Anyway, we like it here and will be coming back.”

“I have had problems in the past with military pharmacies, but civilian pharmacies aren’t any better. NAS Oceana is a proficient pharmacy, regarding customer service and speed of filling prescriptions. There are times I have waited more than an hr, but being disabled and retired, my patience is not shaken because there are times of elongated waiting periods. In this day and age giving respect to the ones providing service, not giving into impatience, produces excellent results. Thank you NAS Oceana pharmacy.”
