Lakewood in Brookfield is an exceptional memory care facility! The outstanding compassionate, consistent staff sets the tone for this vibrant community where everyone is cared for as family. The staff’s sincere engagement with and love for each resident, as well as kindness toward each other, is expressed in everything they do from medical care, meals, building maintenance and cleaning to creative activities and joyful companionship. The upbeat, attentive environment at Lakewood sets it apart from other facilities and provided a wonderful place for my Mom…and for us!...to feel “at home.” Mom was happy, content, safe and surrounded by genuinely caring people. The entire staff provided encouragement for us that Mom was sincerely loved and attended to. We really enjoyed visiting Mom at Lakewood…and continue to visit even though Mom has passed away…because the staff and residents are dear “family” that we appreciate and love.

I am a physical therapist that provides therapy services at Lakewood. I spend between 10-20 hours per week on the memory care unit. I have been a clinician for nearly three decades and have never been more impressed with a care facility than I have been with Lakewood. I am constantly amazed at how attentive the staff is towards the residents and their families. Every staff member is a caregiver at heart from administration, nursing and caregivers, to housekeeping and culinary staff. The staff is diligently providing exceptional care and experiences and making changes to ensure each resident's quality of life is at its highest level. If I had a family member that needed the support of a memory care unit, I would recommend Lakewood.

My father is a resident at Lakewood and it has truly been an amazing experience. When we decided to move him to Wisconsin, we researched at least 10 different memory care homes in the Brookfield/Milwaukee area. Choosing Lakewood was the absolute right decision. The staff is caring and loving. They are enthusiastic and energetic. I know that not only are my dad's physical needs being met, but he is in a place where they love him. I have also been impressed with the wide range of activities they do for their residents and families. Lakewood and its staff believe in the dignity of the residents and I can't speak highly enough about them.

Lakewood is phenomenal! My mother came from a previous facility that had many issues. I made the decision to look for a new place. I toured many. As soon as I saw Lakewood and met the exceptional staff, I knew that’s where my mom would live. The staff treats every single resident as though they were their own parent or grandparent. The love, dignity, and respect shown by every staff member is above and beyond what anyone could imagine. They plan so many fun and engaging activities on a daily basis, feed them gourmet food, and meet the personal needs of each resident. Nobody is left unthought about. Each resident is treated as an individual, not a “protocol”. I wouldn’t consider any other place for my mom.

I could not imagine a better care facility for our mother. Lakewood’s administrator Laurial is energetic, hands on, intelligent, and caring. Lakewood’s staff and employees are amazing, simply the best! I see their love and warmth on a daily basis. The building and grounds are well-maintained. I am very glad our family heard about Lakewood, and I would highly recommend it for your loved one.

I have an 85' Ford bronco, I've been looking for a place to check the condition of the carburetor and general maintenance. It took me the better part of 3 years of trial and error around Hampton Roads, until I found Ted. He is very knowledgeable in every aspect of Ford's and specifically the bronco. He took my car that was barely running and now she sings when she drives. Even after I picked my truck up we kept in contact and was giving me suggestions on body work and window repairs. Ted is the MAN! I will be going to him for all my vehicle needs, and you should too!

These guys were great! I called at 9am and after I told him what was going on, he all but diagnosed the problem over the phone. When I brought my truck in they started right away and I was out of there within a couple of hours. Very professional and the price was better than what I could have gotten at a dealership! 10/10 would use them again and highly recommend to anyone!

They do incredible work!

Ted is the ONLY person I will allow to work on my Fords! He kept my 1989 Ranger running for 20 years, almost 321,000 miles. And he is keeping my 2009 Ranger XLT in superb condition!
