GREAT PEOPLE! I wanted to personally apologize to these folks about my last review and to the lady up front for storming in her shop and using foul language. I was in the wrong, I didn't think about how long it had been since repairs were made to my car. That is my fault. They are wonderful people and they do a great job, I have been using them for inspection and other services for 10 plus years.
Great local auto shop. Wonderful staff. Just got a state inspection but would definitely come back.
My wife and I were visiting Virginia Beach for our anniversary the weekend of October 1st. We live over 3 ½ hours away. When we arrived at Virginia Beach on Friday, a rock guard, or some type of plastic cover underneath the car, had come loose and was dragging on the ground and making a huge racket. I made 3 calls to Ford dealerships and independent repair shops; I was told the same story, “sorry we’re booked and can’t help you." My 4th call was to Kempsville Auto Care.
Late on a Friday, with a hurricane quickly approaching, Vickie listened to our predicament and told us to come by and she would squeeze us in. They fixed the car that night and didn’t charge me an arm and leg to do it. I am truly grateful for the customer service and concern that Vickie and the owner showed. If I lived closer I would honestly say Kempsville Auto Care has earned my lifelong business! Thank you, Vickie and crew!
I have been going there since 2016 and have always been satisfied with the customer service and quality of work. When my truck did fail inspection it was because I needed tie rods as they were loose and not to be trusted. had that verified by another mechanic as I was not ready to spend that kind of money. He verified that Napa was CORRECT and I was very lucky that they pointed it out to me and not to drive until replaced. I trust all the staff and will continue to give them my business.
My 97 Ford Ranger will be a Vintage truck soon. Bought used in 2002.So in 20 years of use i had bragged on being dependable. So, it quit. Towed to Kempsville Auto. There were muli problems.5 components had to be replaced plus inspection.
My wife said buy another but still have to repair 1st. No, choose to keep instead of 5 years of payments. Took a week and half as parts had to be found but worth the time and investment. Thank you, Mike and crew. Don
