I was very nervous and very scared for my first tooth canal. Dr. Becker and his staff were all very kind and understanding of my anxieties. Dr. Becker explained to me every single thing he was doing before or while doing it. The root canal was not painful and I have no pain following the procedure. His assistant was friendly and made me feel at ease about the procedure. I hope I never need a second root canal but if I do, no doubt I will be going to Dr. Becker for it!”

“Our family has utilized Beach Eye Care for over 10 years. When it came time for my daughters contact lens we were referred to Dr. Lipton who is a contact lens specialist. My daughter first got her eye exam from Dr. Jain. Contact lens were discussed and she opted to pursue.,The appointment too a few weeks, but that's ok as we were not in a rush. We first met with staff to go over a couple exams and try on a few different manufacturers. Dr. Lipton then came in and did a thorough exam and also went over the different lens for comfort etc. Once the decision on the specific brand we received a two week trial with a coupon with for $100 for a year supply order of lens. She was assisted by staff practicing putting them in, taking them out. This took my 12 year daughter around an hour. It's harder than you might think if you never have worn them. Going through an optometrist is more expensive then mail order. However, with coupon it was close. The lens were delayed almost two weeks and my daughter received a bridge to get her through. We received the package in the mail. I would recommend Dr. Lipton and staff at Beach Eye Care.”

“I trained at East Side Muay Thai while I was stationed in Virginia Beach from October 2019 to July 2020. I have trained at several other Muay Thai gyms throughout the last ten years, but East Side is by far the best. Coach Jose is not only an excellent coach, but also a great friend to have. I had the pleasure of assisting the introduction classes during my time here, and the level of detail placed on the basics is marveling. Jose breaks down Muay Thai into a game of chess, focusing on timing, rhythm, movement, angles, and sometimes deception. His philosophy of fighting is focused not just on becoming strong, but smarter. This gym is a must-go for serious athletes who want to pursue Muay Thai on a dedicated level. However, there are many classes available for those who simply enjoy the fitness aspect of the sport. Either way, you will learn how to really defend yourself, unlike fitness classes at "cardio kickboxing" gyms. The price of instruction is very affordable. The atmosphere is very tight and family oriented. Members of the gym maintain good cleanliness after each class, sweeping, mopping, and wiping down pads/bags. East Side takes pride in being an authentic Thai gym and I genuinely recommend this gym to anyone who seeks self mastery through martial arts.”
