“As a local, we frequent Denson's often for the amazing ice cream! However, my children and I visited today for lunch and it was absolutely fantastic. My daughter had the children's order of fried shrimp and fries, which she stated was the best she's ever had (which is a high compliment since that is her preferred order everywhere). My son and I both ordered burgers and fries, which were juicy and cooked just right. We love the quality, fresh food and the loving service make Denson's stand out. Keep up the amazing work, Rocky, Blaire, and staff!!! We love y'all and your restaurant!”

The Tides Inn B&B is, by far, the best place I have ever stayed at. Meghan, the owner, is a complete professional who enjoys her craft. From the moment I made my reservation to my arrival, she was nothing but responsive and helpful. Upon arrival, I was welcomed into a pristine room that met my every need. I've found her entire establishment to be unique and charming without sacrificing one once of utility. She will provide you with what you need for a great stay, while making you feel right at home. The added benefit of a stay at the Tides Inn B&B is the amenities, particularly the Tides Inn Market. The food and beverage you will find in the market are top notch! Meghan and her daughter provide an excellent culinary experience and nearly everything you'll be offered is home made and healthy. You'll be welcomed by great food and great company to boot, as this is a local hangout which is exceptionally lively, friendly, and welcoming. Lastly, you'll be staying a short walk from the western shore of the Potomac (3 mins walking). “Previously I gave a review that was incorrect and for another place we stayed in Virginia beach. Our stay at the Riverview was great,I loved the nautica look of the room very nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable the bedding,comforters and pillows were cozy and luxurious. The one thing I was not happy about was the bathroom door being see through. I stayed in a room with my teenage son and grandchildren, you are able to see the person naked in the bathroom, we hung a towel over the door????????. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Definitely need a smoking area.”

“the employees were extremely empathetic with me when i had a bad experience on the beach with random patrons of colonial beach. i had had an extreme panic attack right before i showed up and they showed nothing but concern and positive energy. the massage was absolutely lovely and felt incredible. i got the deep tissue massage. this is the place to go for hair nails massages ans just general courtesy.”
