“My lab tech, Abby, was extremely professional and helpful. She kept me updated throughout my 3 hour glucose study, ensured I felt comfortable and verified that I was feeling well enough throughout the test. Also worth mentioning: I showed up at 0700 to complete a 3 hour glucose study. I did not have an appointment based on inaccurate information I received from a phone call I’d made. I was extremely anxious, tearful, & upset when I found out I’d have to do the fasting and test on another day if I didn’t have an appointment. Pregnancy will do that to you. Karen F in patient access took the time to set up an appointment for me and was able to get me in that same morning so I did not have to fast, pregnant with twins, on an additional day. She jumped into action, got on the phone, and spoke with a young lady (Amber, I believe) who was luckily able to fit me into the schedule. I was so impressed with their service and the fact that Karen treated me as if I were her own family member. My registration clerk (Cathy, I believe) also came by the lab to make sure I was feeling okay and not as tearful as when she registered me into the system. To combine that service with an extremely professional and comfortable lab experience was unbeatable. The facility was clean, welcoming, and comfortable. The team they have working and the diagnostic center is amazing. I’ll continue to do the rest of my testing at Valley Health diagnostic center and recommend my family and friends do the same.”
