Hair by Emily at Top Knot Hair Studio

I got my first deva cut last week with Emily. I am very happy with how my hair turned out! She was able to cut my hair in a way that I liked it without losing much length. It has since been much more manageable to deal with. I’m new to learning the curly girl method and she was so wonderful through the entire experience. I had a lot of questions and she answered them all which I really appreciated. I would definitely recommend her!

I have extremely curly hair and a new friend with beautiful curly hair referred me to Emily. I called to make an appointment and Emily explained she trained at Deva in NYC and continues to attend training classes for different types of curly/wavy hair. I was immediately impressed about her knowledge of styling curly hair when she asked me to wash my hair and not use any product right before my visit - that was the first time any stylist asked me to do that!

Upon arrival for the appointment, we talked about my hair as she examined it. She cut it and applied the appropriate Diva products. I honestly could not believe the transformation that took place - my hair looked amazing!

She then texted the directions for me to retain a curly girl look! I can't wait to go back! Thank you Emily!

My experience with Emily is always so wonderful!!! ???? Not only is she the most sweetest, gentle person you will ever meet but she is also very professional and knowledgeable in what she does. She always makes her clients feel comfortable and really listens to them. I absolutely loved my Deva Cut by Emily!! She did such a great job and my curls looked amazing!! Emily is a skilled stylist who is great at the traditional or up-to-date trends. She herself is beautiful. And, she is one of the nicest persons you will ever meet. She is a superb colorist.
