Navy Gateway Inns & Suites Cheatham

As others have said, not really cell signal at the Inn, however you can log into wifi and it's better! We loved the quiet environment all around the base and even enjoyed driving around in the evening and morning to see all the critters out (deer, squirrels, skunks, ground hogs, rabbits, etc). The room set up was like a mini apartment with a kitchenette as soon as you walk in the door and separate rooms for the living room, bedroom, and bathroom. Made it nice with the kids, so they could watch tv while we got ready for bed, morning, etc.. The bed was comfy and the sofa also could turn into a bed. The front desk employees were super nice! I loved the coffee availability & the travel brochures in lobby also. Just wish that the restaurant was open on the weekends or there was some sort of snacks/ drinks available, since the NEX has weird hours and not a lot of things around that area. Overall was a great stay and my kids want to go back!

No cell service, mine is through Google so works once I'm connected to WiFi. WiFi is available in most common areas on base as well as in your room. I had no problems with the WiFi. The TV service is spotty. There is a great little picnic area overlooking a waterway that I really enjoyed doing some outdoor reading at. The staff is great, rooms don't have a stove which is a bit of a bummer for a longer term stay like mine (two weeks) but there is a microwave and mini fridge and lots of wonderful places less than 15 minutes away, and a Target for convenience about 5 minutes away.

Great staff. Always very nice and helpful. Nice little suites. The bed is pretty comfortable. There is a microwave and minifridge. There is WiFi. That is pretty much the only way you will have signal is connected to the WiFi. If you've never stayed before I suggest grocery shopping. There is 4th Street grill on base but that's it. All other food places are about a 10 minute drive. Over all, a good place to stay. Make sure to venture over to the lobby area. There are computers and a lounge with a huge tv.
