EXCELLENT food and margaritas!! We were in town for the Great Wolf Lodge and devoted to try this placed based on reviews. We were not disappointed. I don't know the names of the dishes but everyone raved about how good it was. It was so good we are planning a motorcycle trip up in the summer, just to eat here again.
The food was GREAT, but Amanda was greater! Party of 13 (7 of which were children under 8yrs old…) and she treated everyone as if we were family! She was the best server I’ve had in recent memory! Very attentive and knowledgeable about everything they had to offer!
The food was delicious, and the Margs were to die for! Between us all we tried most of the menu and every dish was cooked to perfection!
We were in town at Great Wolf, and will absolutely be returning when we’re back in town!
The wait was a bit long, but it was worth the wait! The food was incredible and the prices are reasonable! Best Mexican food in VA. Minutes from Great Wolf Lodge with ample parking. The restaurant is on the smaller side, so there is limited seating. There is also outdoor seating, which I'm sure fills up quickly with warmer weather. My kids at ALL their food and they loved the fresh salsa and chips. I'm definitely coming back.
The food was great and there were a lot of people there at lunch hour. It has limited space inside and but there are some tables with umbrellas outside in some parking spaces. I also liked the way the cups were a neon blue. I give it a four mostly due to service. Our waitress seemed a bit impatient, never refilled my wife's soda, and when it was time to pay we were sitting there a while as nobody told us pay at table or pay up front. When we went up front the lady (who was not our waitress) went over to our table to look at empty plates as if not knowing what we had ordered. Thankfully the bill was close to what it would have been but it was rather informal and not professional. It is worth going for the food but probably best to go not at a peak time.
We found the best Mexican restaurant in Williamsburg! The reviews were absolutely right and we are so glad we decided to go. The food is amazing and the service is great as well. Amanda really took care of us, suggesting really good dishes and making us feel welcomed. We had the original margarita on the rocks, steak nachos, El jefe burrito, choripollo, and carne asada. Everything was delicious and the portions were beyond generous. Definitely a must when in Williamsburg.
