We came during Hurricane Ian because my son was returning from almost a year long deployment. We showed up around noon and not only did we check in we actually were able to get into our room. The entrance was very clean and inviting, they even provide free bottles of water. We checked our room out before bringing our luggage in, the room was spotless, comfortable and the a/c was super cold!! Upon going down to get our luggage the manager of the hotel brought up the elevator for us and thanked us for staying there. (We have NEVER had that happen in all of our travels to hotels)!!! He was also very busy checking things….again most managers you never even see! I was impressed!
Now let me get to the true star of the hotel…..Ms. Michelle…what a gem! She provided crayons and coloring pictures for my grandson to occupy him and even asked him to give her one to hang up on her wall. Then she assisted us in getting a second room for my son due how late he was getting back that evening…...AND (probably out of her own pocket) got a bottle of wine for he and my daughter-in-law to celebrate with. I can’t even express enough how Ms. Michelle went above and beyond to make the celebration of my son’s return more enjoyable!!!!!!
I can only wish that all hotel stays were this pleasant!!!

Overall, nice hotel. The 2 women at the front desk were super friendly upon checking me in. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious. The lobby, halls, and elevators were clean. There were a few things that were dated in the room, I suppose. The wallpaper in some places was peeling off. There was an area under the nightstand where the cords are hidden away and that panel was broken and just on the floor, but those don’t really affect the quality of my stay, so I would definitely stay here again.

Nice newer hotel. Friendly staff. Exercise room and indoor pool. Very clean. They do have a hot breakfast but not very diverse options. Just eggs and bacon everything else is cold. They could definitely improve on that a lot! The rooms were spacious and beds reasonably comfortable. They did have shampoo & conditioner and body soap in the tub/shower combo. The hotel is right by the Richmond Airport.

We try to go to a local hotel twice a year to use the pool. This was our first time at the brand new Fairfield Inn and Suites. We are enjoying our first night here. We ate our fast food in the dining room which is bright and clean. Looking forward to the free breakfast in the 🌅 morning. The front desk people are friendly and efficient. The room is spacious and clean. We enjoyed the pool, the reason we are here.
