We are so fortunate to have this facility in Yorktown. We make regular trips on Saturday mornings to dump grass clippings and/or tree limbs. They also have a variety of mulch options for purchase at reasonable prices. The areas are neat and orderly and the staff is very helpful. If in doubt about their hours, just pick up the phone and give them a call. They've always answered when I've called with questions. They offer other services that we haven't taken advantage of yet, like disposal of large appliances for example.

The recycling and disposal facility is a great asset to our area. My wife picks up truck loads of mulch for our garden. Inexpensive and convenient! Thanks

The staff is courteous and helpful. The folks checking you in are protecting your tax dollars as it's a York County facility for York County residents. The guys at the recycling area, and the guys at the dumpsters, are very helpful and friendly. I guess some residents and businesses feel this place should be open 24/7, and maybe be a drive thru where the staff does all the unloading?? Get real folks.
