One of the nicest, cleanest museums I've ever visited. Truly informative exhibits! Grandsons, ages 8 and 6, loved leading me around. They especially liked the "phones" that had sounds of battles, and many items they could touch. The outside encampment was great, as were those in costume explaining life there. Boys found souvenirs in the shop that were reasonably priced. Highly recommend!!
I've been coming to Williamsburg and Jamestown since I was a little kid and have somehow never been to Yorktown. So this time, we got the Historical Triangle ticket and put this at the top of my list of things to see. I found the displays in the museum very informative and well laid out and the couple of films were also very well done and brought a few of the stories to life. The speakers in the encampment and farm outside were very knowledgeable and added to the experience, although, we did move kind of quickly through the outside portion because it was HOT! The artillery demo was also really interesting, and something I've never been able to see before.
2021: We visited during homeschool days and did a tour. Our guide was fantastic, she was wonderful with our group ranging from age 1 to 9. She was very engaging and handled all their questions well. She was so full of information and spent 2 hours with us all around the enactment camp. The inside was great as well with lots of information and great videos. The big theater with the panoramic scene was really cool.
2 years ago: Another beautiful museum. This was my very first time visiting this museum but it had so much history. I really enjoyed all of it. My 1st grade daughter loved the outside and seeing the tents and exploring. She also enjoyed the houses and being able to participate in old fashion activities (as she said). I would recommend this to everyone.
The Yorktown American Revolution center was a wonderful experience. They have presented the history of this region with great detail. The Seige Theater's presentation has what I call "a Disney effect" with added sensory features that immerse you into the battle scenes. The staff manning the outside exhibits are to be commended. They clearly presented the various tasks of the military and farm life. They were knowledgeable and answered a variety of questions. This is a jewel.
A must visit for everyone who wants to understand and appreciate our history. If we want to preserve our lifestyle as a proud American we have to take a little time to study our past. Ignoring it only will bring us indifference on the matters that are the root of our survival.
"The essence of getting it and the reality of landing in it" will allow us to be courageous to defend what we consider the most precious gift: liberty and freedom.
Professional staff, attentive and dedicated to customer service.
I've been going to Dr. Gibstine for nearly 20 years and have been absolutely pleased with her professionalism, access and friendliness. I've never had a problem with a prescription refill nor anything else. Every problem I have gone to her with has been resolved and my wife is now a patient as well.
Why can't more doctors be this way: punctual, professional, efficient and to the point. But still caring and willing to address any questions. Such a breath of fresh air in contrast to the typical hour-long waits with no explanation with the average medical office. Yes, my time is valuable too; thank you for respecting that. Kudos for your approach.
I don’t know what everyone is talking about I think she’s wonderful. I had serious acne for 2 whole years and tried everything under the sun including two other doctors. I started seeing results within 2 months of seeing her. About a year after my serious acne cleared up I started getting a few more bumps and decided to go back, she gave me some cream and some pills then after a few weeks my skin was perfect!! Because of Dr. G’s work I have more confidence and feel like I don’t have to hide my face, and that means a lot. I genuinely recommend her to anyone suffering from bad breakouts.
Dr. Gibstine was awesome. She spent time talking to me for a bit, provided some options, then solved my problem. I had a great experience. Her staff was friendly and efficient.
I highly recommend Dr. Gibstine.
I had an excellent experience with Dr. Gibstine! She was prompt, professional, and genuinely cared about my issues. She prescribed an effective antibiotic/topical treatment for my sudden adult acne - which has already improved only 4 days into treatment. She also completely checked my moles head to toe and relieved my anxiety about those too. Overall a great experience - I highly recommend this Dr!!
