Since i was one of the young-uns back then, and had trouble sitting still, my Daddy would hand me his car key, and let me and my sister sit in his car and play the radio for a short period of time! The Old Baptist meetings lasted longer than some ! ( Yes, the car cranked)!”

The pastors at Gilfield Baptist Church knows all of its member's and their extended family. Now, a church such as this; I could call home. Not many left that are about the congregation anymore. Most the churches today are about how deep a congregants pockets are to benefit whatever.”
