Lacamas Park

It is a lovely park. This was my first time to visit this park.. I arrived a bit after 1 pm on Saturday. Parking is a bit hasty, but signs directed me towards overflow parking where I found a spot.
Beautiful paths that are paved, at least in the area we were in by the river's edge. Nice restrooms. Picnic tables placed around the grounds and nicely spaced for privacy amongst the trees.
Dogs are allowed and there were plenty there. They were all well behaved and leashed.
We got witness a Wedding party who snapped pictures on the bridge across the river.
Lots of paddle boarders. And swimmers. Plus I saw lots of people with fish poles, so fishing must be good. The only drawback is that didn't see any place to get down beside river except jump like everyone was doing. There may be spots like that, but they weren't where I was with my family.
I would recommend this beautiful park and a very short drive from Portland.

Lots of open space for picnics, volleyball, badminton, etc. Also features a small playground for the little dudes. Public restrooms available and a few picnic tables. We've also rented kayaks and took them around Lacamas and Round lakes. Boat launch as well. There is also a trail head with an amazing hike around Lacamas lake. A+++ would recommend.

Great spot to bring kids! Can do a longer or shorter hike. Lots of fun hidden surprises and beautiful scenery. Good playground and groomed or rustic trail options.

Wonderful trails to hike or jog. Beautiful surroundings with plenty of open spaces for friends and family to enjoy a full day around the lakes and creeks and trails. Nice little parks and play structures for kiddos. We were super impressed with this entire area. Easy hiking but not too flat as well. A real great find. We'll be back for sure.
