Honestly, we started across the parking lot with poor service and ridiculous prices. As we stomped back to our truck in frustration we thought why not try this place - and it was redemptive! Reasonable prices, delicious food and the best yet… personal, friendly, appreciative service. Our service was fantastic! Funny, helpful, attentive, busy! They were the only person on the floor and we had fantastic service. The other place had many servers, bartenders, managers, etc. and they could not match the effort made here. The other place? I’ve been there twice, the first and the last time. Here? I’ll be back!
ordered wings and fries for pickup on Saturday afternoon. the server I spoke to was super nice and my food was ready by the time I got there (10 min!)
love that they charge by weight for wings. they were meaty and the sauce was good. I would probably go for a different flavor next time though. I didn't go during happy hour, but if the portion is the same, it's a great deal! unfortunately, their ranch is super bland :(
the fries and spicy aioli were a real gem! the potatoes were crispy and fluffy and the two went perfectly together. The to-go portion was a bit small for the price.
Spent $22 total before tip. Overall, good food and great service :)
I came in on a Monday at noon so it was pretty slow. Which is nice that I don’t have to compete for the staffs time. I had the Frickles and the Fire Burger.
Frickles - Dill chips and dip and fried in our signature beer batter, served with a housemade ranch. I have to say I am weak in the knees for fried pickles. These were exceptionally good. I prefer spears but these were very enjoyable. The beer batter was light and very little grease. The ranch has an abundance of flavor. 4/5 stars.
The Fire Burger - deep, fried jalapeños, green chilies, pepper, jack, kicking aïoli sauce, lettuce, tomato, and onion. The Burger King with a side of Coleslaw. The presentation was on point. I really loved the playing on both dishes. The burger was seasoned really well. I do prefer a burger with some pink. This burger was not that. It was pretty over cooked. The bun was lite but held a great structure. 4/5 stars
The coleslaw was fresh and crisp but had very little flavor. I feel like this was a prepackaged after thought. 2/5 stars.
The service was really good. The guy behind the bar was nice and helpful. He asked me a couple of times how I was doing and if I needed anything.
Overall I am glad I tried this place. It is always nice to find a local establishment doing a solid job!
On the inside, it looks like a pretty basic taphouse and sports bar. It's pretty clean and has a few televisions. Customers seem friendly, and the employees are even friendlier. Fast service. In addition, the food tastes really good. Their monthly special pesto pasta is super tasty, from the bread to the sauce. Good combination of tomato sauce and pesto. Serving size is reasonable for the price too. Overall a good place.
Atmospheres is a bit lacking but they make up for it with good food and a great happy hour. The beer list is stacked and the wings are great. Oh and the pretzels are everything they should be. Perfect place for a casual date during happy hour.
