My BF and I were a little worried at first when we stopped in for lunch, as it had a very outdated sort of “Long John Silvers” chain kind of vibe. But it was busy, full of old people (who are notorious for being particular) and it had good reviews, so we decided to give it a chance.
This place did not disappoint! I had the crispy chicken sandwich, which came with some sort of delicious homemade breading, fixins, and a scrumptious bun. My BF had the Mike’s Meat Pizza which he really enjoyed.
The best part, though, was the clam chowder! I’m a clam chowder snob and I make it a point to order it every time I try a new place on the coast! Beaches was by FAR the best clam chowder I’ve had to date!
The service was wonderful, the crew seemed friendly and happy to work there, and the view of the waterfront was also a nice treat. Aside from the decor, Beaches has it all dialed in. We think it’s a great restaurant and we will back!
We came here to support a cause for deserving scholars. We walked in and got seated after a few minutes. The food was terrific, and the ambiance. It was nice to get lunch looking out of the Columbia River. We will come back for sure :)
I happened to look up this place while visiting the area for business and I’m so glad I did. The reviews were great and I was sold based on the high ratings. After being warmly greeted I loved the option of outside seating along the Columbia River. There were a could items on the menu that stood out for me, but I choose the stuffed trout paired with the Washington Hills Riesling. It was PERFECT!! 😍 I killed that trout twice, 😂 and the wine 🍷 was great as well. 😋
Dessert is typically not my thing. On this occasion, I had to have the key lime pie. I’ve had key lime pie in Key West and that my measuring bar. I was informed that the owner flew to the Florida keys specifically to acquire an authentic recipe. I also found out they use Florida key lime juice in their recipe. It did not disappoint!!! The key lime pie was great because of the smooth texture, fluffy and light taste. It as wasn’t overly sweetened as many typically are. 10 out of 10 for the key lime pie!!
I know I’m here did the food but I can’t overlook the incredible hospitality. This is one of the most polite and personable restaurants that I’ve visited in a very long time. Every employee that I encountered was very kind and had warm greetings. EVERY PERSON introduced themselves and asked my name as well. You don’t see these attributes anymore and it makes me happy to know that it exists at such a high level. Niko, Sydney, Justine and Jeremiah are just a few names that I remember. All very nice customer service oriented people. Whenever I’m back for business or pleasure I will continue to plow throw their menu and try many more of their dishes.
Thanks for the great experience!!

We came here last Sunday to celebrate to celebrate my sister's bachelorette party. The food was good, I highly recommend their fries. The service was wonderful, and the team was accommodating of our requests and party size. I will definitely return when I'm back in town again.
I loved Beaches! First of all, you can bring your dog into the patio area, which by the way is right by the Columbia River and on a beautiful Northwest day, it is spectacular! We ordered appetizers and main courses, all of which were excellent. I loved the menu choices. There were multiple servers ensuring you have everything you need. I cannot wait to go back and take time to walk the riverside before we dine.
