I have known Lea Foote and her family for years, so when it was time to enlist a realtor’s help, she was my first choice. Lea possess all the knowledge and skills to transact the home selling and buying process, but that is not what sets her apart from her peers. I wasn’t in Vancouver when I started working with Kale and his crew. I had lived in the Phoenix Metropolitan area for about 40 years, was getting older (79) and wanting to be near my family in Vancouver, Washington. So four years again I created a plan to move. Last year a business associate suggested contacting Kale Dunning at Dunning and Associates who had helped a family move to Vancouver. I did, and we began the last phase of my plan. By e-mail we discussed the features of the kind of home and my budget requirements, and the area in which I was interested. Then in I flew to Vancouver and met with Kale and his great crew. In May 2019 I packed up, drove to Vancouver, moved in with my brother and began the last phase of my plan…..to buy a house. By then my wants and needs had changed and Kale was totally responsive to that and helped by making sure I could quickly meet with him or one of his crew at any home in which I was seriously interested. Ultimately I found one perfect for me…..single level, not much lawn area, 2 bedrooms and 2 baths (a rare combination), but at a bit higher price than my budget plan. Thinking I might have to adjust, he assured me he could work with the seller’s realtor to negotiate a better price. Mid July I became a homeowner again, in the perfect area for me, in the perfect house for me, and within my original budget plan.

Kale, Bree, and all of his crew were wonderful to work with, easy to talk with, answered my questions and concerns, and I would definitely recommend Dunning and Associates!

My wife and I were referred to Kale Dunning by an agent in San Diego when we decided to move up to the Vancouver region. We explained our needs and wants to Kale, arranged a weekend to fly up and spent the first day looking at 12 houses, all in our price range and within the parameters we gave him. We fell in love with one house that day and bought it a month later. Throughout the process and appreciating that we were living in San Diego at the time, Kale was extremely helpful in our long distance transaction to the point where he volunteered to help get contractors out and give us estimates for work we wanted done once the sale went through. He was a gem and a gentleman throughout the entire process and we are thrilled with where we are now.

Kale was not our only champion throughout this process. Another employee of Dunning + is Bree Lloyd who was absolutely priceless in her help, dedication and care. Again, long distance, when we had questions about the property or where things were or even when we worried about the hot summer and that our grass/plants would be killed by the heat, Bree volunteered to drive out to the property to make sure everything was well and even offered to water the lawn for us herself, if necessary. I cannot begin to image how badly this could all have gone if not for both Kale and Bree. Ultimately, these guys are consummate professionals and really seem to care about people, past the commission. It was a real pleasure working with them and would recommend them to anyone who asks.
