Oishi Sushi

Pretty good place to eat. Clean atmosphere, very nice staff, good menu options- but a little pricey. I’d eat here again!

The Philadelphia roll is my favorite thing there, and I also love how fresh their other rolls are. I once got a bento box and the lady was kind enough to let me have a philly roll instead of the usual California roll, which I happily paid the difference.

I am really into Japanese cuisine and enjoy exploring all the different sushi restaurants in the Vancouver metro area; this happens to be one of my favorites. The employees here are all very friendly and pleasant to talk to. Overall, the interior atmosphere is relaxed and casual, but it is also clean. I'm surprised by how cheap the prices are here for certain food items such as the udon, which tasted excellent. I also thought that the vegetable tempura appetizer not only looked visually nice but had a good batter and accompanying sauce. Whenever I'm in the area and craving Japanese, I'll be sure to stop by, because it's the best near the mall by far.
