Planet Thai

Went there for a take-out order for dinner last night. In the brief interaction I had paying for the food, the customer service was wonderful. Very friendly and warm. The fresh spring rolls were wonderful. The pad thai was also good. The portions were huge! It's nice to see something outside of the burger chains in our neighborhood -- I look forward to visiting again!

I live in a van and travel the United States. In every city, I try the highest rated Thai food and Mexican food and then rate the place as it compares to other cities. Planet Thai did not disappoint. I ordered the Spicy Basil, fresh rolls, fried spring rolls, and dumplings. The Basil was SO GOOD. I would say top 3 in the United States. The spring rolls were a little soggy and were cold. The dumplings delicious, fresh rolls GREAT especially with the warm peanut dip. The best part was the people were genuinely friendly. I think sometimes our differences in culture makes it hard to relate to each other but the people who work there genuinely care and are friendly and polite. I ordered a creme brulee but they were out so I asked the waiter to just pick something he could replace it with and I got the fresh rolls in their spot. He cared that he didn't want to make me wait for another dessert that would have to be prepared. The fresh rolls were great! I will definitely go here again, maybe once a week while I am here for the next month. A++++

Place is amazing. My 3 favorite dishes are stir fry eggplant, pad see ew, and the coconut ice cream. I never dined in but the servers are always very nice and sincere. Not over the top where you can tell it's fake.

The house special curry beef was amazing. I'll be back for more!
