“Ike Memorial is a fully fenced and a very large park for letting your pooches roam. There's a long and wide dirt pathway that you follow uphill into some woods, then veers off to the right. It continues to the top where you can snag photo of the sunset. Then you head back down to complete the loop. I went today with my client, Bucky, who's a large Samoy and he absolutely loved it. There were about 50 dogs at the park and were very friendly: sniffing, chasing each other, chasing balls, and some light wrestling. The owners walking their pets were friendly as well and many were not on their phones which was refreshing to see compared to Normandale park. There's free dog bags, trash cans at the top of the hill on the right, and water. If your dog likes Chimney park, it'll really enjoy this spot since it's quadruple the size. I'll be back again with more of my dog boarding clients. Reach out to me at poochpatrolpdx.com if you need help with your senior, rescue, or anxious pup 🐶”

“Visited Sunday 12/6/20.Arnold park is a section of the burnt bridge creek trail. Mostly all other trails that connect to this park are closed for restoration. The trail is paved and there is no parking except petticoat park and ride or parking in a neighborhood. No bathrooms available at this park. I did not see any homeless encampments in this park and not a whole lot of trash. This section of Burnt Bridge Creek is very close to highway 500 and also in the power line area. The trail is paved wide walkway. Beautiful birds, creek views and apple trees.”
