Maddie and McKinley are not only wonderful at their job, but also extremely warm and supportive people. My partner and I signed up for their virtual childbirth class and were extremely satisfied with the information they presented which ranged from pregnancy through caring for newborns. We felt knowledgeable about what to expect with labor and delivery which calmed our nerves in being first time parents. We then decided to hire McKinley as our doula for extra support and guidance which was the best decision we made for ourselves and baby. She helped us discuss and create a birth plan, answered all my questions, made time for emotionally supportive phone calls, helped me cope with the pain of contractions, and provided soothing support to me and my partner during delivery. We’d highly recommend any of the services offered by Columbia Crossings!

Maddie and McKinley are amazing! They provide a very authentic, informative, and easy-going birth prep course. Over the 6 week course, both Maddie and McKinley made sure that all of my questions were answered making me feel much more confident and comfortable with my upcoming birth experience. I would highly recommend their birth prep course for any first time parent. All the anxieties and fears I had about giving birth were addressed and eased through all of the knowledge and preparation I received from this course. It was very well done!

My husband and I did the 2 classes for 3 hours. Both Maddie & McKinley were so informative and always stopped to answer any questions we had. They also encouraged us to give them a call if we had any questions or concerns, no matter the time of day. They’re so passionate about what they do, and it really shows! They’re very professional and always encourage the parents to do their own research before making an important and sometimes controversial decision. They don’t place any judgment on you for whatever your choice is for birth, postpartum or the care of your newborn. Thank you so much for all you two taught us with these two classes. We learned so much and can’t wait to apply it to our birthing experience and postpartum/newborn experience :)

I attended the 6 week class with my partner and it was so worth it. I wasn't sure what to expect as this is my first pregnancy and I didn't know very much about pregnancy and birth prior to attending. This class exceeded my expectations and my partner and I finished the class feeling way more prepared and knowing so much more about how to prepare, what to expect, as well as things to think about and available options that I would have never know about had I not attended this class. I loved how the class was organized by topic, and it was easy to understand and follow. I also loved how all opinions and options were covered with no judgement, and information and facts were provided on absolutely everything. It was fun and helpful to have partners involved and it sparked many helpful conversations between us, and I feel way more prepared going into labor and delivery. They went above and beyond to answer all questions and even personal questions related to my individual situation outside of class. I highly recommend Maddie & McKinley!

McKinley was one of my biggest support people during my pregnancy, labor, and delivery. She is very knowledgeable and was able to ease my mind and prepare me for the birth of my son. Over the few weeks we had gotten to know each other, she was able to sense my honest feelings when I wasn't expressing them which was very important during my labor and delivery. She was able to practically read my mind and help me tackle my fears before I had even voiced them in the delivery room. McKinley helped me feel empowered and confident and I am forever grateful to have such a positive birth story that I am truly proud of. She is an amazing person and I highly recommend her and her services.
