bagel factory is the best bagel place in the world. do not let any lower star reviews fool you, bagel factory is the best. I miss being able to watch the bagel machine but the quality of their bagels always makes up for it, and don't get me started on their delicious flavored cream cheese. I wish they had a location on the main land but this just gives me another great excuse to go out exploring on the island on my days off, because nothing beats a fresh bagel from these guys.

I am utterly obsessed with this joint and we went twice in two days, back-to-back. Everything from their wide range of flavors, great sandwich options and coffee are excellent. The avocado breakfast sandwich with scrambled egg just hits right in the morning with a cup of coffee. And the grilled cilantro chicken sandwich with cream cheese is just on another level of flavorbomb. Definitely worth stocking up on several bagels to keep around the house, and to wait outside for a sandwich or two... or three... or more :) Definitely visiting every time I'm on Whidbey!

Stopped here during the pandemic. All take out right now with a walk up window and terrific display of fresh bagels. Got the pesto cream cheese and egg plus avocado bagel. So fresh!!! Excellent soy latte.

Impressed with the bagels and I’m from New York! Very chewy texture with a nice size. They have a bunch of flavors of bagels to choose from. Turkey club is an excellent sandwich. The Lox sandwich is delicious as well.

Whidbey Island Bagel Factory is one of my favorites, everything is fresh and has that taste to go with it. My recommendation is really any bagel toasted with butter or cream cheese.

The only downside -the costs..... Prices have gone sky high since it was bought out. I love the improvements but I'm not there for that. The old owner Larry sold out often and while I understand everything changes this place has almost driven out the locals. My family members and their families can't afford to visit here anymore. So I buy when we eat here.

I could see this place in Seattle where higher prices are normal. But here on Whidbey where folks make considerably less it's tough to swallow.
