(July 28, 2023, 9:40 pm)The road up was straight up but the views are fantastic. Smooth road. You have to take this cut off and experience the heights and panoramic a esoteric trail walk view to some amazing sights!!!!
(July 17, 2023, 1:24 pm)Excellent viewpoint, clean, well maintained road. Amazing viewpoint for stars and sunsets. Not dark completely due to city lights being visible from both lookouts.
(July 15, 2023, 6:35 pm)The views from the top on both sides are fabulous. The road not so much. It is steep and not well maintained. Guardrails would help but not sure how many visitors come up here. It was also nice to have a toilet. I recommend it for those with a high clearance vehicle and experience on curvy gravel roads.
(July 8, 2023, 1:37 pm)I'd recommend parking at the start and hiking over driving. If you drive, the road barely fits two cars, and there's no railings, it's a pretty steep drop, kind of scary if you look down! If you meet someone from the opposing side, one of you will have to slowly go around the other person. Once you reach the top tough, you are rewarded with seeing two viewpoints, the north and the south. When I went, it was pretty hazy/foggy, but still very beatiful. It's really surreal looking and everything from that view and just taking all the nature in.
(June 26, 2023, 10:37 am)Beautiful views from the top of Mt Walker. We enjoyed lunch at the picnic table and the beautiful wildflowers. Perfect weather led to breathtaking views of Puget Sound and the peninsula.
