New Found Metals

I have tens of thousands of offshore miles on NFM trimatrix portlights. They've been PERFECT. I'll be upgrading to their bronze ports (nothing wrong with my trimatrix portlights, I just want bronze and couldn't afford them first time around) when I have the money. Customer service is quirky but be patient - he's ONE GUY and you're not going to find real portlights anywhere else.

G'day All...this is the second vessel on which I have NFM portlights. The first boat (a Dyer 29) I fitted with bronze units and made teak in/out-side surrounds as none were offered at the time...(circa 2005) This new (to me 1981 trawler) had the NFM chrome plated units installed in about 2003. Needless to say I have been delighted over the years with the quality of these products, especially the ease with which they are adjusted when required. I recently had to replace one of the screens (2016) and the new unit came as a rubber surround insert which looks superior to the old , ill fitting brass unit.
I have been impressed with the efficiency and friendliness of the personnel with whom I have dealt, especially Jarelle. I no longer live in the Pacific Northwest but if I did I would hustle up to Port Townsend, WA and buy the whole crew a round of good cheer. Best Regards, John Shore , Easton, MD

Recently rebuilt a 1922 schooner yacht, and have found it increasingly difficult to source well-designed and cast bronze hardware that would be worthy of the vessel. Then one of our shipwrights recommended New Found Metals.
