“Very green park with lots of trails. There are only 2 things left from fort days which is an old cemetery and a torpedo tower that is located in the group campsite. The majority of the park has returned to it's natural roots. There is a barn in the park that can be reserved for any number of things. We only stopped in while waiting for our ferry reservation. It has a campground that we did not look at. The bathroom by the day use area was small but clean. Lots of picnic tables, a few grills, horseshoe area and amphitheater. The state parks website has lots of information for this park as well as reservations for the campground.”

“Rose is an impeccable teacher, deeply passionate about Qigong and tremendously generous. She embodies the spirit of the Daoist teachings through the ease of her movements and her down-to-earth wisdom and humility. Her demeanor is loving, her intelligence and strength evident. Rose gracefully guides classes with students of mixed-experience and physical ability by subtly teaching to each individual, and she brings deep enthusiasm and encouragement for all levels of experience. Rose is clearly a lifelong student of Qigong herself, always learning and continuing to deepen her own practice; she readily discusses ways to finesse the forms through a variety of interdisciplinary perspectives. I highly recommend looking through her website for well-curated resources, as well as information about her training at the MogaDao Institute. Her background and breath of knowledge is unique and quite special, on top of her obvious knack for teaching—what a gem! Rose’s poetic insights into the seasons, the body, the psyche, and the sacred space she holds for embodiment and the cultivation of one’s awareness and intuition is truly restorative; she guides our practice with beautiful attunement to the needs of the day and I leave with a deeper feeling of joy, physical ease, and sense of being grounded. Couldn’t rave about her more—I feel fortunate to have found Rose and encourage anyone to take a class with her. Thank you, Rose!”

“WOW! I have been working on my house remodel since the world stopped and honestly I wish I had known about this place sooner. Erik has been more helpful than others at any place I have been. Their service is top notch and their products are some of the best. Still have a way to go before completion but I will gladly make the drive to get what I need because of Erik. Thank you and your staff for knocking it out of the park! Bowie loves this place!”

“I was looking for an enriching activity for my three boys and what we have found at SBG PT goes beyond expectaions. Nate’s program includes incredible hands on instruction, life skills, practice in conscious living, thriving in community, how to be a good team mate and friend. We were drawn to martial arts because of the depth that compliments the rigorous physical training and discipline but again I am blown away by Nate’s ability to pull this off with such a comprehensive program. He is intuitive with each students needs, identifying where their strengths are and where they need incouragment. My boys train 3 days a week and are growing strong in their bodies, hearts and minds. All the coaches at the gym are really invested in holding a high bar for quality and fun instruction. I couldn’t recommend this opportunity more.”

“I stayed here last minute when my ferry got canceled due to weather. Easy check in, the location felt safe. The room was very clean. Other than some stains on the blanket, and the refrigerator had a small mess in it. I was impressed how clean it was. The bed was comfortable. I very much appreciated the box fan! I would stay here again.”

“Travis seems to have something I want on the wall or in stock every time I go in. There's always a good selection of general pistols and rifles in stock and sometimes the cool odd ball that I never would imagine I'd see. Ammo selection is great and always has a bit of surplus. If you can't find a gun you're looking for at his shop, I recommend asking if he can order it. He almost always can get the price lower than if you were to do it yourself. Every time I walk out, I feel like I got a great deal, and Stoken has become my main shop for anything gun related.”

“Working with Dana as a life coach has been by far one of the best experiences. She provided a safe space for me to release things that made me feel broken inside. She listened, she was empathetic to my struggles, and gave off this postive energy that made you feel safe in the space you were in with her. Dana provided the necessary tools to commit to building a better, happier and more liberated version of myself. She emphasized on the importance of self love, and helped me discover the answers to my questions within myself. Dana is the real deal and I would strongly recommend her as someone to help provide the necessary tools in order to balance things in your life. She goes above and beyond for her clients without question.”

“Only two options when we arrived. Breakfast or lunch. Breakfast was a fantastic, not too sweet, berry filled blackberry muffin and coffee and lunch was a turkey and pesto stromboli with a salad a cookie and drink. $5 for breakfast and $10 for lunch which we got one of each and shared. Loved the stromboli as it was delicious and seemed super fresh even though it only took a minute to come out. The salad was simple but seemed super fresh as well. Bought 2 more muffins for the road and it all came out to $21... Mind blown. If you are in town do yourself a favor and go here for some of the best cheap eats I've ever found any where.”

“This is your local family drug store. They treat you like you're important to them, and they go out of their way to help. I've been filling prescriptions there for 18 years and they always get it right. Don and the rest of the pharmacy staff will always take the time to help you find what you need. They are kind and professional. The store also carries a little bit of everything, reminding me of the good old dime stores of the past. Housewares, hardware, electronics, clothing, office supplies, arts & crafts supplies, snacks, greeting cards and party supplies...they have it all! And if you need a Port Townsend souvenir, they've got you covered. Don's Pharmacy will always be my favorite drug store!!!”
