Beautiful place to visit! Lovely plants with descriptive cards. The paths are long with much to see. We went for the Christmas lights and were very impressed. An article said there's half a million lights. I can easily believe it. Amazing shapes with some even being animated. Highly recommend!
We went here with our friends and family just to walk around, even if there was a little bit of sprinkle of rain, we had fun! The scenery is so beautiful. Everything is green. We also went here nighttime to see the Christmas lights we also love it. They have hot drinks that you can purchase and cookies.
What a beautiful place! It was a bit busy when we got there, before it started raining. Parking can suck but that's everywhere in Washington. Very clean and very relaxing. I'm so glad places this beautiful are free! I would love to take out of towners here to see the beauty of Washington! We took so many pictures! Lots of photographers here as well taking photos of clients! I'll definitely be back.
One of the best botanical gardens in the state tucked away in privacy in a highly populated city. Easily accessible and extremely popular in spring and summer. Highly recommend to ensure a parking spot either plan for unpopular times or find alternative transportation/carpool. Winter and fall simply are perfect as they are less populated and the beauty and wildlife is much more appreciated. Thanks for all the day by day work put in to make this a longstanding and successful retreat from daily life.
We have been here a couple of times. It is one of the most beautiful places in our area, and graciously maintained by people that really care. There are 6 or 7 different areas of landscapes so nicely keep, from sunny spots to shady rock water features. Oh ya, a ravine walk down in the native forest, with a suspension bridge that's awesome. Oh and a cafe with espresso and food back at the top before you relax and head home. Totally makes a Great outting, I believe! In the past , they hold an Arts fair in the summer, not this year, hopefully next!
