Great little spot. The kids had a blast and try to.figure out what the mystery tools are. I was 0 for 5
Great staff, all seniors. A quiet place to find old stuffs, some 100+ years old. Gives a glimpse of the history. Highly recommend to check it out.
Full of antiques and people who love the history.
A must see for any Washingtonian. Wonderful story of our history.
This is one of the best appointed museums I've ever been to. The volunteers were so kind, and very knowledgeable of the history of Black Diamond, it's coal mining history, and railway history. We brought our 2 young boys, that enjoyed a scavenger hunt throughout the museum, resulting in a sweet reward. Best of all was the train stationed in front of the museum, where our boys were welcomed to climb aboard and even blow the whistle!
I was impressed with the huge assortment of old relics of the past, from clothing, to appliances, and tools, and so much more. They've set up each area to represent what a real slice of life was back in the late 1800's. The kitchen and school room were amazing! As well as the the fine display of clothing.
Truly a wonderful gem! I highly recommend a visit.
