Great yarn store. Lots of more rustic yarns, but also plenty of luxury. I definitely think texture when I come here! The layout of the shop is accessible and people are friendly.
My husband and I came here for the 2022 Yarn Crawl and this store was amazing! Very clean and well lit, lots of fancy yarn. They did have a sign that said they won’t wind yarn during the Yarn Crawl so I’m assuming they normally do, which is awesome. Tami, Grace, Rachel, and Sani were so welcoming. We live a ways away from this shop so we won’t be visiting too often but we’re already looking forward to the special occasion that we do.
Absolutely love this yarn store! High quality yarn and high quality knowledge are found here. They have classes and knitting circles as well as anything else you need at every stage of your project. Their online store is also excellent and orders are quickly fulfilled. Can't recommend them enough!
Absolutely great place to get your wool yarn! The store representatives are incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable. They know all of the ins and outs to their yarns and can happily provide suggestions based on weights, textures, thicknesses, etc. They are also avid knitters who have a wealth of knowledge to share! You'll also see booklets around the store that provide you with the information (what's needed, what knowing pattern, etc) on how to knit a particular item. If the store representations nor the booklets give you the answer there store will also have a small selection of books to help you out! Lastly, they also have formal and informal classes/knowing sessions that teach and otherwise help you out with your project. Absolutely great people here! Parking is available across the street in an unmarked gravel parking lot.
This was one of the places I really wanted to visit when we visited family, mainly due to their emphasis on breed-specific yarns. They also focus on local (Seattle area and Pacific Northwest) yarns, it was fun to see a bunch of new to me yarns. I could easily have spent hundreds of dollars!
