First Choice Care

First choice care was recommended to me by a friend who’s father lived there and received excellent care. My mother suffered from dementia and needed 24 hour care. She required the type of care and patience only the best care givers could provide. I found that at First Choice and I am so grateful. Daniela worked to meet all our needs. I was able to relax and know that my mother was well cared for. The facility is very spacious, attractive and comfortable. The yard is large and well kept up with a sidewalk around the entire facility for a good walk. I enjoyed my time visiting my mother there. Everyone is so nice. It’s like family. My mother’s room was large with doors that opened to a deck. When I first saw the room I was concerned about the color and Daniela quickly had it painted in my mother’s favorite shade of green. My mother loved Diet Coke so they made sure it was always stocked and never asked us to pay for it. They went above and beyond to make her comfortable and feel like she was at home. It takes a special person to do this kind of care and I think they are all Angels! May God Bless them for the work they do.

During the most difficult time in my husband's life, First Choice Care was there every step of the way! My husband and I received the news in May of 2017 that due to an unfortunate accident he was at end of life. At that moment, I was put in a position of making the decision as to where he would receive the best care for the time he had remaining. After extensive research and touring different facilities I came upon First Choice Care. The owner, Daniela met me at the house herself, provided a detailed tour, answered all my questions with compassion and empathy for the situation. I knew right then, this is where my husband had to stay!

Daniela and her staff are incredible! There is nothing they wouldn't do to ensure my husband received the best care, 24/7. They prepared him his favorite meals everyday, brought in a hairstylist to cut his hair and beard every couple of weeks, and provided 1st class care morning, noon and night.

They went as far as to arrange transportation to and from the home two days a week so my husband's mother, who was 98 could come visit.

Their mission is all about showing compassion and love. Although my husband was only there a few months until his passing, I know in my heart they were two of the best months of his life. They renewed his faith in people. They showed him that everyone matters no matter what their situation. I believe that God led me to Daniela and First Choice care, and for that I will be eternally grateful!

Every time I have entered this home the Caregivers are always attentive to the residents and visitors of the house. The house is always in a clean state, and the atmosphere is very welcoming and happy.
