Pretty but most definitely prepare for a windy hike down a hill and then back up. At one point you can forget your right next to the highway until it meets again and then have to cross the street to the bridge.
My family and I love this trail. We just moved up here from California and this was a beautiful trail. The only downside is that there is no parking for those that do not live near the trail.
little over 3 mile, well maintained, paved suburban trail with steep (400+ ft) elevation changes and rather sharp curves. Good for an easy to moderate pace 3-7 mile run. Not good for speed intervals due to the steepness and sharp curves may cause you to run/fall off the trail especially when it is wet.
Good trail. Not crowded. Beautiful river views.
Our family had a great time on this pathway though the forest. Even saw a black garden snake. Moderately intense on the way up, but a nice leisurely stroll on the way back down. Next time I’m running this trail.
