Hillcrest Burial Park

This is such a lovely and peaceful place to go for a walk in the morning. It has beautiful trees and gorgeous scenery. If you’re looking for a place to take some photographs or to pay respects to people who have passed away, and I highly recommend this burial park - stunning views of Mt. Rainier.

I’m surprised at the negative reviews. I’m not dismissing anyone's experience, but Hillcrest, and Peggy especially, have been warm, welcoming and helpful to me. My father was in the funeral business and frequented Hillcrest prior to his own passing. So, when my mother passed we chose to have her buried at Hillcrest. During my mother's graveside service there was dirt or something that had somehow rested on top of my mother's casket before she was placed in the ground. Without prompting and while we were grieving and seemingly consumed with interacting with one another, I watched an attendant go over and clean off my mother's casket with his handkerchief. That simple gesture meant so much to me. When I visit my mother's grave, Peggy has been extremely helpful and welcoming. I hope that those of you that had that experience will give her and Hillcrest another chance. I’m adding my mother’s name so you know I’m a real client- Lucinda Patterson.

Peggy on the phone, and in the office was so very helpful. My brother died in 1958 and Hillcrest Burial Park has taken very good care of our little grave marker and the records thereof. Peggy called me right back when she found the paperwork from her files that are kept in a huge fireproof safe. Thankyou from our hearts Peggy and all the Hillcrest Staff. T seriously means a lot to us the work you do. You've brought joy to our family because it took me quite a while to finally call the right place. Thankyou!!!
