“It was right where it was supposed to be, in the hills above Kent. Nothing mobile about it. We didn't have to locate the caravan, so to speak.”

“My first time was at Don Hoppers funeral. I can understand now why he liked it. It is very comforting. I am sad and grieving Don. I have known him for years. Since he was 16. Its comforting to know Pastor Hicks was with Don and knew him. I knew many layers of Don. As I listened to Pastor Hicks , it was comforting. We were together as boyfriend & girlfriend in our teen years. Don always seemed to be searching for something. He found peace with the Lord. Don was supportive because he knew I am taking care of my mother. I miss our conversations and miss him every day but it is comforting to know he is at peace. Don called me from the hospital on the 19th. Of March. I knew , from how he spoke he would be at peace and out if pain soon. I had/have love for Don. Always have. ❤ Thank you for caring for him . Sincerely, Barbara 🕊❤”

“Placing a loved one in long term care is a difficult decision, at least it certainly was for me. After evaluating a number of potential placements, I chose Choice One Adult Family Home. It was a highly positive experience as Choice One was committed to be with us for the duration. The resident manager and caregivers were outstanding in how they cared for my loved one (LO) who was in very advanced stages of his disease. They were invested in every aspect of his daily life. Medical instructions were followed even in complicated situations, meds were administered right and timely, meals were freshly prepared meet my LO's needs, his room and bathroom were clean and orderly, the overall facility was clean and orderly, laundry done every day, he was always bathed and in clean clothing. Beyond these things, caregivers encouraged interaction among residents in the common area of the home - I saw the meal table as a gathering place for those who were able/chose to join. I felt free to bring any questions or concerns to the resident manager. I felt I was part of a team who was committed to providing the best for my LO in his final chapter. I was always informed, and I didn't have to oversee their work. I received positive input about the staff and the facility from hospice nurses as the visited the facility often. In closing I will say everyone at Choice One showed genuine caring for my LO. It brought quality to his life and I know he felt their caring attitude. He was blessed for having spent his time in a facility with the quality of care that he found at Choice One.”

“As a student who attended all four years at this school and graduated, I have to say, some of these reviews make absolutely no sense and are extremely over exaggerated. I can PERSONALLY GUARANTEE that bullying is non-existent. A select group of students within their OWN social circles will "roast" each other. Roasting is, essentially, pointing out flaws of the victim in question. "Traditional bullying" simply doesn't occur. I mean the Hollywood movie things like, stuffing students in lockers, malicious verbal harassment, mugging for lunch money, forcing heads into toilets, off campus assaults, etc. The administration is 3.5/5 for sure. Students will, without a doubt, be held responsible for any instance of failure. Failure can range across attendance, grades, behavior and a few other factors. I personally like a lot of the teachers because they can be very helpful. Admittedly, like anybody in the work force, teachers will have "bad days" and make regretful decisions. I believe the administration does care based on their close observance of students who are not meeting expectations. In fact, I knew a student who was called into an administrator's office six times in a five day period for progress updates. Most of the athletic programs are successful and the coaching staff set reasonably high standards for athletes. Unfortunately, if a student is planning on participating in the football program, they'd better put in a lot of extra work. The coaching staff has no issue having the same eleven players play both sides of the ball and special teams. In retrospect, I enjoyed my experience at Kentridge. It was nice meeting and getting to know lots of fascinating individuals. Honestly, the Culminating Project is unnecessary and strips many students of time where they could've been excelling academically. I understand the lesson taught through the Culminating Project but it's very stressful if a student falls behind.”

“I'm new to San Antonio and was looking for a post office for all my mailing needs... I found it! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with my shipping needs, and even taped up my boxes for me. I highly recommend this location if you're looking for one.”
