Everything was just perfect I had the fried chicken and some okra the broccoli was cooked just right, I had some squash that was cooked properly, shrimp and some fried fish. Our waitress was exceptional she went above and beyond to keep us in soft drinks and extras.
It was very crowded but they kept up with the food refilling. As usual the quality of the food was just edible. But the service was wonderful. Our waitress kept our drinks full and the table cleared of used items. She was absolutely great.
Went for Veterans Appreciation Dinner. I cannot say enough positive things about this location! Servers went above and beyond taking care of the veterans. Turned over tables fast, food was fantastic and one server even had the crowd singing Lee Greenwood's "God Bless The USA".
Great Food made fresh and kept stalked... had Great Time
Cute little neighborhood park with flat, 1/4 mile paved blacktop loop trail. Picnic tables, grassy areas and a nice children's playground top things off.
Nice park. Kids play area is nice, and the trails (both paved and not) are great for walking with kids.
It's a good place to walk your dog. The playground was not bad and they have some to exercise for older people too..
At 2 pm on July 21st (today) while walking a dog on the trail North of the playground area in the woods I saw a young black bear coming from the east on the same trail. We both saw each other about the same time. It was about 200 feet from me. As I was trying to get my camera out, it turned and ran back along the trail to the east. Just a warning to have your dogs on a leash and be aware of your surroundings.
By far the best park in the East Renton Highlands. The wooded area is filled with hiking trails that go every which way and many are wide enough to ride your bike through, which I do almost daily. The park itself has a basketball court, workout equipment and a play area for the kiddos. There are six picnic tables and benches as well for a nice picnic or get together. The only real downside is that it has no restrooms on site. If they built some I would give Maplewood Park a mathematically impossible six out of five stars.
