May dyed my hair a little too light and reddish to match my original hair color. I ended up liking my hair, even though it wasn’t what I had asked for. I would just recommend requesting your specific hair color (specify the number on the label) so you for sure get the result you want.

May was super friendly and I had a nice time visiting with her and the other people in this small, affordable salon.

THIS IS THE BEST HAIR SALON EVER! also my aunt owns it, (hi it's maiann!!) my aunt is the best a hair cutting & styling at a reasonable price. i got blonde highlights in my brown hair here back in september & still have them to this day as they are still shiny!! please consider going here it's the best hair salon in my opinion.

Fast, friendly, quality cut for an unbeatable price. I used to just give myself buzz cuts. For the last few months I've been wearing my hair a tad longer now so that requires professional help.
I went to Rudy's 3 different times and was butchered 3 different times for the price of $35. You could actually see the scissor lines hacked all over my tapered sides (cleverly hidden with the gel they applied at the end but discovered after the next shower). Or if I didn't tell them about glaring irregularities they didn't seem to notice. (I mean I would have to go home and fix my haircut). I knew about Rudy's roulette but 0 for 3 is ridiculous. Here on the other hand all the little obviously needed micro adjustments were attended to with precision and ease.
I don't love when places charge me more for a women's cut when it's the same haircut they give to a million men for less. But in this case I have zero complaint because it's still just $14 (vs $12).
I heard of May Hair Design via my coworker, and I'm here to keep the praise moving along.
Come support this business, the hipster barbers at Rudy's can hack away on someone else. I know this review sounds like a slam at Rudy's, and it is; but the point is to draw the comparison that May Hair Design is SO much better! I just left happy as clam with my cute haircut and am looking forward to my next visit.

I have been going to May for the past twelve years. She always does an amazing job. I tend to want more volume because my hair is on the thinner side and she always delivers! I have received haircuts from big name hair salons before and I always prefer May's more. Thank you May!
