  I approached Denise seeking treatment of my "symptoms," including overeating. What I received is holistic, compassionate care, and guidance. We worked together to identify the root causes of my eating. Now when the symptoms sprout up like weeds, I have the tools to look beyond what's presented and pull the issue from the roots.
  
  This was a true partnership. It was affirming. Denise has shown me how to cherish myself today, not when I reach some goal weight. She has helped me to develop kinder thoughts towards myself. She has helped me to see that what I perceived as weakness were actually my strength and desire to persist and thrive. Overall, I have the tools to be who I have always been. I am not powerless;in fact, I'm pretty darn strong. And I am starting to see and evaluate myself differently.
  
  I always felt seen and better during my sessions with Denise. And that was especially important for me as a woman of color, during this period of civil unrest. But most importantly, I am equipped to overcome challenges when I am not in session. She helped me to see that I actually already had the technical things needed to lose weight, but now I view losing weight differently. It doesn't feel like calorie counting, over-exercising, or deprivation. It comes with a lot more ease, being present, trusting myself, and joy.

  I cannot thank Denise enough for her guidance, kindness, and wisdom! She helped me develop strategies to overcome my binge eating by first understanding why I was bingeing in the first place. I feel as though a weight has been lifted off me now that I've given myself the freedom to eat what I want when I want. Before granting myself that freedom, I didn't realize just how much energy I was spending on stressing about food. I'm now using that energy towards more productive things - like finally taking the plunge into a new career. I owe that life-changing epiphany to Denise!

  I came to Denise desperate for help with binge eating. With her guidance, I learned how to break my sugar addiction, lost 30 pounds and even opened myself up to falling in love. I highly recommend!

  Denise was such a great guide through my journey and a wonderful witness to my progress! She helped push me through some struggles and bring clarity to thoughts and feelings. She was always comforting, encouraging and full of praise. "Exceptional" was my word throughout this process and she truly was an exceptional piece of my journey.
