Cool place to visit.
This park is the best in park in Seattle. From it's various trails to the fields, meadows, and it's beach (hike to beach has a substantial elevation loss/gain) it truly is Seattle's best. Parking at beach requires a permit available at the visitor's available only to disabled, seniors 62+, and those with
children 7 and under. Weekends from Memorial day weekend through Labor weekend and on those two holidays a beach shuttle is available from 10:00 Am, with the last shuttle leaving the beach at 5:30 pm at least as of the summer of 2019. Absolutely worth the visit.
Come in and ask questions, get a free guide map, use the restroom and go hike one of the greatest Parks in Seattle!
Stop by here to learn about the park flora and fauna, trails, park features, nature classes, permits and borrow some equipment like binoculars.
Staff are friendly and the space is inviting. Great way to introduce the little ones to the park. Plenty of parking and clean bathrooms.
