It's just a ribbon of a beach, but it's rare public access along the lake. Make your way down a steep bank to the water's edge. There is virtually no beach here, unless it's late summer and the water's low. If you're willing to get your feet wet, you could make your way for 100+ yards along the shoreline before you reached private property. Known as "Boy's Beach" in the 50's, kids used to fish and swim here amid the ruins of some kind of saw mill (or something.) Nanny has since sanitized the beach for your protection, so the concrete bulkheads and the pilings have been removed. Good spot for bank fishing,
Not a place to bring screaming kids there is no playground and so many places for them to fall and get hurt and drown and die I wouldn't bring your kid around here this is a place for peaceful meditation do not bring your kids here Good place to go if your by yourself or maybe one other person not a very big stretch of land.
