Outside courtyard seating. Big booths inside. AMAZING food, brunch was delicious the garlic potatoes were perfectly seasoned. Ample free off street parking. Excellent food rating. If you sit outside you will be in the shade until about noon, bring a sweater even in the summer. After that it’s nice and warm
in the sun or under their big umbrellas. Easy access in between West Seattle and Tukwila.
Love this place! Great food and cocktails in a fun neighborhood. Try the meat hand pies and the house Old Fashioned with muddled blueberries. Super friendly owners and staff! The patio is cute and set up great for social distancing.
A couple weeks ago, my boyfriend and I decided to pop into a local favorite for dinner, and happened to pass Uncle Eddie’s. After we ate, we decided to scope out what Uncle Eddie’s looked like and how safe it might be to have a drink there. I know we’re in some scary times right now, and staying home IS STILL the safest decision. However, if you are going to venture anywhere, stop at this gem.
There was a sign when you walked in, that says to check in at the bar. So we walked right up as there wasn’t a crowd congregated anywhere, but were politely asked to just step back a little - this gave space to the bartender so she didn’t have people breathing on her and putting her at risk. This also gave space to a gentleman at the other end of the bar, who I hadn’t initially noticed, as he was waiting for his drink. Once it was our turn they called us over, and provided paper/disposable menus. After we had our drinks, the same gentleman walked us over to open seating areas inside, as the patio was full. This man shouldn’t have to, but he was definitely keeping an eye on EVERYTHING going on to make sure that not only he and the employees were safe, but also the customers coming in. We made sure to thank him for everything he was doing because it certainly did not go unnoticed.
If you’re going to go anywhere for a beverage or to grab a bite, I highly suggest stopping into this establishment. I haven’t gone to many other spots, but can only hope that other venues are taking all of this as serious as Uncle Eddie’s has.
LOVE this place! While their regular menu is stellar, I am partial to their brunch. Best Biscuits and Bloody Mary in town! Hidden gem for sure. Can't wait for things to get back to normal so I can sit back on a Saturday morning and indulge here again.
Fantastic eatery. Simple but effect menu. Cocktails. Beer on Tap. Beer in bottles. Full bar. They have Happy Hour! Small desert selection but I bet it will make 80% of those who love desert very happy. I went for lunch so can only speak to the patrons I saw. Very friendly mix old, young and in between. I would call it trendy yet friendly kinda neighborhood spot. The food is really good, not too expensive. Enjoy if you are in the area.
