Catherine understands better than most the very delicate and sacred space she is entering when helping us learn how to breastfeed our babies. She is kind, calm, encouraging, professional and effective. I have worked with dozens of lactation consultants for my babies and I had a ton of trauma around breastfeeding in part because of the consultants’ tendency to focus on what is wrong.
Catherine was the first positive experience I have had and this was the first time I was able to breastfeed. I’m so grateful for her.
She is patient, responsive and a joy to work with.
Catherine was an absolute pleasure. Her calming and reassuring demeanor put us all at ease, dad and baby included. I, the mom, benefited greatly from her knowledge, wisdom and emotional support as I tackled breastfeeding for the first time, we had our own unique challenges. I highly recommend her services, especially the at home visit. I had a variety of experiences with different consultants in different settings, and this was by far the best. I truly feel like she put my son's well being first, and especially appreciated the personal follow up phone calls to discuss his progress. He's doing great and I feel comfortable because of her!
I was struggling with my slow recovery and new experience around feeding. It was very stressful and I thought I should give up breastfeeding. We contacted Catherine to give it a try. She is a very thoughtful, professional, and knowledgeable person I could rely on. I hope you do not hesitate to contact her for help!
Catherine is an amazing lactation consultant, I would high recommend her to anyone seeking guidance or support for breastfeeding. Having her guidance during those early days after birth made a huge difference in getting comfortable breastfeeding and learning little tips that really made a difference in my ability to breastfeed. Catherine is also amazing about follow up and answered all my questions when issues arose after her visits which was very helpful.
My husband and I really enjoyed working with Catherine. We live in a rural community and were able to have our appointments via phone and video, which we so appreciated. We both felt really supported and my husband found it really helpful that he was able to ask questions to and learn how to better support me. Most importantly, Catherine had sound advice and it was easy to follow. She’s been wonderful to work with and we highly recommend.
