My 21 month old grandson's (and my) favorite park. He loves the swings, slide, and jungle gym and the people we have met there are so kind!
It’s a small neighborhood park that caters to the locals. But, you can access a pretty cool trail system from the backside of the park. I doubt anyone outside of the Snoqualmie Ridge locals will frequent this park, but the trails are cool. You can actually walk all the way to Snoqualmie Falls from here if you know what you’re doing. We let the dogs run free here when nobody is around. They have a small baseball Diamond, but I’ve never seen a game played there ever. Super small. Probably a bad amenity for how tiny the field is. Ah, tee ball. That must be it. ;)
Cute little playground, grassy area, baseball field and covered picnic place. My two daughters like coming to this place (our local playground) whenever the weather permits and hanging out for a while. Ample parking off the baseball field if you aren't walking here.
There are 2 public restrooms and a drinking fountain (which usually has a communal dog water bowl underneath) that is located between the playground and baseball field and close by the picnic covered area. The nearby roads are also very far from the playground area, so it feels a lot safer than places I've been to in the past. I feel like the layout is really well thought out for anyone wanting to stay for a while and not have to worry about necessities.
My only qualm is the lack of seating for parents around the playground. I might have been spoilt by previous local playgrounds I've been to in my years but there just isn't enough seats for many adults who are there watching their kids. There also isn't much shade to hide away -again, as a parent- underneath, but that's negligible when you can park your butt anywhere due to the lack of seating ☺️
But otherwise it serves its purpose well.
Very nice and peaceful neighborhood park for kids. Also good pathway for senior walking.
This is my first time coming to this park. It's really nice but there's not much shade for a sunny day. If you like hiking, there's a trailhead (Deep Creek Trail) you can follow.
