I went here once. It was amazing! Although. The week I was there, They had no toilet paper :/ Anyways, the food is also really good! The only problem was it got really cold during the overnight, and most of my friends woke up with wet sleeping bags (because of the dew) Also, you should cover your face during Overnight! Overall, it’s pretty good. Also, my councilor was Half Pint, so you might have a different experience! (I was 8 when I went there.)
Amazing! Magic! Campfireseattle.org always makes unforgettable memeory.
Went here for 10 years. Kiwanis, Nocturnal, Wranglers, you name it. You are truly immersed in the PNW. The camp is right on the beach- most of the cabins face the water, with mountain/hills right behind you. Varied activities, good staff to camper ratio, well trained staff, good systems in place to cheer up a camper if they are home-sick or feeling left out. The bad reviews seem to have a common denominator: the proximity to the outdoors and what that actually entails. This is a camp for people who like camping (or want to get into camping), like the outdoors, don't mind being in nature (including bugs, mud, cabins with screen windows not glass, etc), and like being active. I wouldn't change any of those weeks in any of those years. I learned so much about nature, the PNW, being outdoors, and myself.
Nice simple place. The colors are drab though; A bit depressing. Maybe some golds, deep blues, fresh green, white trim. Something new. The drive was crazy but we made it.
