  The environment, the class contents and Master West teaching technique are super good.
  My 5 years old enjoyed it and he is Master West's tiny fan 😊

  This is our family's first martial arts experience, and my 6yr old and 8yr old are loving it! Master West and Master Vincent really meet each kid at their level, which is extra impressive because they manage kids at different belt levels within one class. My kids also clearly find the belt and stripe system very motivating, and are excited to take on new challenges to keep making progress.
  
  Before starting, I was admittedly nervous about the time commitment (2 classes/wk) and whether my kids would fit in. But we're a month in to classes, and they are more and more enthusiastic each time they go!

  My son started here 6 months back. He loves the classes and always looks forward to them. The instructors are great and very friendly. Recommend this program if you have a little one!!

  I've been coming here for about 10 months and it has been a great experience. They are professional, fun, and helpful. Even on my first day, I felt I had the space to ask questions and get help if needed. They have a great team and have been adding more instructors as classes have been growing post-lockdown. I expect I'll be continuing to spend more time here, and would HIGHLY recommend joining in on a class. Excellent work outs, great company, lots of knowledge. You cant beat it.

  Just wanted to let you know what this program has taught a parent.
  
  My son joined the West Family Martial Arts program when he was five years old. He was always a natural leader in school and unfortunately, a target for bullies. A martial arts program, we thought, was the best opportunity for him to learn how to protect himself and stay in shape.
  
  As the years passed, with consistent dedication to the West Family Martial Arts program and Master West’s steadfast teaching, my son achieved through his belt colors.
  
  When my son was working for his black belt last year, I did everything possible to make sure he got to his Friday classes. Driving 6 hours round trip from Camp Coleman or flying him home from a family vacation are some examples. When I found out that he did not pass his fitness test, I was furious! After all, I had done to get him to class, and he did not pass something that was his responsibility.
  
  The best part of this program is the students are not the only ones who learn; it’s an amazing experience when the parents get out of the way and allow Master West to instill accountability in the students.
  
  This year my son wanted to try for his black belt again. I did not remind him once, nor did I make an effort. Stepping back, I allowed my son to remind me, to ask for help, to make an effort. What a beautiful release to watch him transform! Wow!
  
  At school, my son had a bully punch him right in the face. Before the second punch could happen, my son blocked and pushed with a stay back move that flung him backward to the ground. The bully’s friend laughed and ran, a good sign my son is now making a change in his life. When the teacher met with the two boys all my son said was, I used my martial arts skill to protect myself called stay back. That was all the teacher needed to hear, the bully was sent to the principal, and my son was appreciated.
  
  Yesterday my son achieved his black belt. As I sit here in awe and tears, realizing how this program has changed our family’s life forever, I can’t thank Master West enough for teaching me to get out of the way. To allow my son to fail and learn from his own mistakes and challenges.
  
  My son has confidence and self-esteem that was somehow missing. Probably a result of a mother that was trying to make sure he never failed.
