Drivers License Examining Office

I never thought I would give 5 stars to a Licensing office but here I am. I was anxious prior to coming to renew my license because I thought I need to retake a road test. (My situation is a little complicated, and because I called customer service and they told me I need to take tests.) I made an appointment expecting the worse, but I arrived early the day of and the woman at the front was so welcoming and nice. Less than 30 minutes later, I was able to renew my license thanks to the nice people at this licensing office. Take note that most people who were with me waiting were elderly, and everybody were very accomodating. Keep up the good work!

I scheduled an appointment online the night before, read through the required documents and arrived 10 min early the next morning for a 9:15 appt. The place was empty except for the staff. I checked in with the front desk, verified my appointment, and before we could even set down, our number was called. The staff took our documents and processed a teenage driver's license application (Real ID) in about 15 minutes. Quick, efficent, and cordial. Most definitely the easiest Licensing office I have ever dealt with. I don't know if we were lucky or it was slow due to the weather, but we were out and complete in less than 20 min. I would recommend this office.

Every time I've had to do something at the DMV in Washington it's been a breeze and this time was no different. We needed to update our licenses to get the enhanced license and get our new address. It took us less than an hour to get that done. The people were friendly and super helpful.

They opened promptly at 08:30. While an appointment is not necessary, it is available and recommended for quicker service. There were about 5-7 people waiting for doors to open, 3 of us had appointments and were helped first. The rest were helped quickly afterwards.

There's been some changes made to the Department of Drivers License since I was there last. It's improved! You have a person to talk to when you first arrive instead of a machine. You have a choice of making an appointment or waiting. I made an appointment for renewal of my license. Things went very smoothly. The only thing I wasn't totally pleased with was the fee. That's gone way up!
