Jon and his crew were so kind and friendly to talk to. Very knowledgeable and super fast and efficient. Amazed me calling me within 24 hours with "hey k, your truck is done!". definitely recommend coming here!

I have had axle work done on 3 different vehicles over the years at Rears & Gears. Always quality work and great prices
John is thee guy to see to beef up a hot rod rear end. The service was fast, the communication was great, and the rear end has been working really well. A+++++ recommend.
We know things are not built like they use to; toys made from plastic instead of metal, quality that goes out of style... John from Rears & Gears has re-established my fate in good ol', American craftsmanship and dedication. My '18 Wrangler came stock with 3.21 gearing and was on the fence between 4.56 and 4.88. Running 35's, he suggested 4.88 if there was ever the slightest doubt I wanted to go to 37 (still on the fence there), but highly recommended the 4.88 over the 4.57, especially if I was planning on doing any kind of towing (we're talking about a 2-door JK w/max towing 2,000lbs., and with the 3.21 gearing, it's 1,000lbs. max-tow).
I went with his referral to the 4.88 and have zero regrets. Yes, my mileage dropped from 19mgp to 16.5, but I'm also running a roof-rack and have a lot of steel/armor on the Jeep. I hit 6th gear, now, before I hit 40 MPH, and 2,650 RPM @ 70MPH. After a few days and a little TLC, I hooked an A-frame camper up and took it over the pass without any issues. Stayed at 60/65MPH the whole way. Made easy work, even with the trailer. Absolutely no hesitation from the engine, whatsoever.
Rears & Gears is amazing. Not only did John quote me a price that was mutually fair, he recommended (and I accepted) installing a Yukon DuraGrip in the rear to help with the lack of lockers on my Sport. All in all, I can not be happier. I drove over 3 hours round-trip for the brilliance that is Rears & Gears, and I assure you, I will be a repeat customer for life. Thank you.
