Incredibly grateful to have Sound Equine seeing our animals. Everyone is so pleasant, knowledgable and helpful. I really can't say enough good things about them.

I had a horse emergency last week in the very early hours of the morning and my regular veterinarian was out of town. He suggested that I call Sound Equine. I was nervous because I hadn't previously built a trust relationship with the veterinarians there but my horse needed to be seen right away. It was unclear at the time if my horse had colic or choke. I called Sound Equine's answering service and within 10 minutes, Dr. Reanna Jarchow called me back. After some brief questions she was on the way to my house.

It didn't take her very long to get there. Her exam on my horse was VERY thorough which I loved. She determined that he had a case of choke. It turned out to be pretty bad and of course I was still nervous the whole time. Dr. Jarchow was professional, knowledgeable and skilled in her handling of my horse Rocky. She performed treatments that resolved his symptoms and she covered all of the bases when determining his after care. Overall I was very pleased with her visit and I would definitely like her to care for my horses in the future.

The following day, Rocky was still not 100% (to no fault of Dr. Jarchow). He wasn't eating and he just wasn't perking up from the morning before. The on call veterinarian that day was Dr. Beau Green. He gave me some ideas to try and when I didn't think Rocky was improving he came out and took care of him. He also showed professionalism, knowledge and skill that I super appreciated.

Basically, this was an extremely stressful situation for myself and my horse and I am so thrilled that the veterinarians at Sound Equine were not only available to come out to see my horse in the early morning and on the weekend but that they were prompt, took my concerns seriously and showed a level of confidence and skill in their treatment of my horse that built my trust in them. They helped to make a stressful situation less stressful and my boy Rocky is on the mend. I would DEFINITELY use Sound Equine again in the future.

On 8/27/2020 I went out to feed my horses when I noticed my horse Trix was colicky. I got him out and began walking him while calling sound equine they weren't open yet so I got the answering service and they had Dr Green call me withch he did within 10 minutes we talked and he said im on the way, I live in Sequim he was coming from Bainbridge witch is an hours drive he was here in an hour I was walking my horse that hour and very worried when he got here he did an exam and decided the best treatment witch he proply began once he did the treatment he stayed with Trix and explained care instructions. He saved Trixs life and im forever grateful for that. Dr. Green and the staff at Sound equine are the best I've seen.

Attentive physicians and staff. Always good at listening to your additional concerns besides the issue they are treating. My experience has been that they continually assess my animal whether I have noticed an issue or not. Gentle care given every time. Available for on site visits or farm calls.
